Today’s 30 year fixed rate is down slightly from Friday making it a good time to refinance or look at home equity loans.   Consider consolidating your bills with a home equity loan.  We save our clients, on average, of $400-$600

30-Year Fixed Rate Mortgage 6.500% 6.733%
20-Year Fixed Rate Mortgage  6.625% 6.933%
15-Year Fixed Rate Mortgage 6.125% 6.505%

Jumbo Home Loans  Amounts that exceed conforming loan limits $417,000.
30-Year Fixed 9.875% 10.061%
15-Year Fixed 9.125% 9.394%

If you want to buy or refinance a mortgage a loan over $417,000 it’s really important we avoid jumbo pricing as you can see these jumbo home loan rates are not good.    As a Texas mortgage broker, we offer the best “NO PMI” home loans and the lowest second lien rates around.

Note:   Mortgage Protection Insurance is not the same as mortgage insurance (PMI).   Mortgage Protection Insurance is a level-term policy (which never goes down) term life insurance policy that pays your home off in the event the main bread-winner dies or become disabled.   Having this affordable term policy is so important.  Visit www.texastermlife.com or more info.
