Fannie Mae Keeps Conforming Home Loan Limit at $417,000 on Single Family homes.  Home loans over $417, 000 are subject to jumbo loan quidelines and higher rates.  This is why it may be a good suggestion to do an 80/15 or and 80/10 to avoid jumbo rates.
